Jim Mullarkey

Started Fencing:     Jim began fencing in 1963 at the Salem YMCA under Coach Joe Pechinsky.

Jim had some competitive successes early in his fencing career but quickly decided that he preferred the teaching role over the competitor.

Jim operates the numerous 3MB sites south of Boston and has brought fencing to hundreds of students over the years. Many students have represented 3MB in local competition and others have gone on to fence for their college teams.

Jim continues to attend fencing seminars to develop his coaching skills and was an assistant to Maestro Alex Beguinet during the 3MB Seminars.
